Terms of Service

Little Roadside Stand provides the website, product catalog, QR code, public stand finder, and checkout tools that a roadside stand owner uses to run their stand online. That's the extent of what we provide — a set of tools.

Little Roadside Stand is operated by Nolan Media. You sign in with a Nolan Media account, which is the same account used across other Nolan Media services, and your use of that account is also subject to Nolan Media's own terms. Keeping your sign-in details secure, and any activity under your account, is your responsibility.

Sellers who use Little Roadside Stand are independent operators, not employees or representatives of Little Roadside Stand or Nolan Media. Each seller is solely responsible for their own products, pricing, availability, permits, food safety, labeling, taxes, order fulfillment, and any issues a customer has with what they bought.

Little Roadside Stand and Nolan Media do not sell, inspect, verify, handle, ship, guarantee, or take responsibility for any of the roadside goods listed by sellers on this platform.

When a buyer pays for roadside goods through this site, that payment goes directly to the seller through the seller's own connected Square account — not to Little Roadside Stand or Nolan Media. We do not hold buyer funds, and we are not the merchant of record for any roadside goods purchase.

Separately, stand owners pay a subscription fee to use the Little Roadside Stand software itself. That subscription is processed for us by Stripe, and depending on how Stripe handles the charge it may appear on your card statement under a name other than "Little Roadside Stand." It is unrelated to, and never mixed with, the money a buyer pays a seller for roadside goods.

By using this site, sellers and buyers agree to these terms.

Privacy Policy

How signing in works

Sellers sign in with a Nolan Media account rather than a password kept by Little Roadside Stand. You can sign in with Google, with Facebook, or with a username or email address and password set up directly with Nolan Media. Any of those get you to the same account, which is the point: if you lose access to one email address, you still have other ways in.

Signing in sends you to auth.nolanmedia.cc, which is run by Nolan Media, and returns you here afterwards. Little Roadside Stand never sees or stores your password, and it never receives your Google or Facebook password either — those companies confirm who you are to Nolan Media without sharing your password with anyone.

When you sign in, we receive a permanent account identifier for you, your email address, and your name if your account has one. We store the identifier and your email address. We identify your stand by that permanent identifier, never by your email address, so changing your email address does not affect your access to your stand.

Your password, how you choose to sign in, and any Google or Facebook connection are held by Nolan Media, not by Little Roadside Stand. Changing your password, changing your email address, adding or removing a sign-in method, and recovering an account you're locked out of are all done with Nolan Media at auth.nolanmedia.cc.

What we collect and why

• Your Nolan Media account identifier — to know which stand is yours when you sign in.
• Account email — to contact you about your stand and to reply if you ask us for help.
• Stand details — your stand's name, address, description, and settings.
• Catalog items — the products and prices you list.
• Photos — any photos you upload of your stand or products.
• Location coordinates — your stand's map pin, so buyers can find you.
• Checkout session records — a record of each order placed through your stand.
• Technical and security data — basic request and device information used to keep the site secure and running.
• Support messages — anything you send us if you contact us for help.

We use a small number of outside services to run Little Roadside Stand:

• Nolan Media accounts (auth.nolanmedia.cc) — handles seller sign-in and holds passwords and sign-in methods.
• Google and Facebook — only if you choose to sign in with one of them, and only to confirm who you are.
• Stripe — processes stand owner subscription payments.
• Square — processes buyer checkout payments through each seller's own connected Square account.
• Cloudflare — hosts this website and stores uploaded photos and data securely.
• Geocodio — converts stand addresses into map coordinates.

We don't sell your personal information. Data is used only to run and improve Little Roadside Stand.

Deleting your account, and how long we keep things

Sellers can delete their account at any time from the dashboard. Two different things happen, on two different timelines.

Straight away, with no waiting period: we give up our access to your Square account — the permission you granted us is revoked with Square itself, and the connection details we stored are deleted, so we can no longer reach your Square account at all. Your Square account, and any money in it, is yours and is untouched. Your Little Roadside Stand subscription is canceled immediately rather than at the end of the month, and your stand page goes offline and is removed from the public map.

For 90 days after that, we hold on to your stand's products, prices, photos, and details — and your web address — so you can restore everything yourself if you change your mind. Nobody else can take your web address during that time.

After 90 days it is permanently erased. Your stand's data, your uploaded photos, your order records, and your account itself are deleted from our systems, and your web address is released for anyone else to claim. Once that happens we cannot restore any of it, and we cannot guarantee you the same web address if you sign up again later.

Your Nolan Media account is separate and is not deleted. Deleting your stand here removes your stand from Little Roadside Stand; it does not close the Nolan Media account you sign in with, which stays yours for any other Nolan Media service. To close that account, or to remove what Nolan Media holds about it, contact Nolan Media at auth.nolanmedia.cc.

Records held by Stripe and Square about payments you made or received are kept by those companies under their own policies, not ours, and deleting your Little Roadside Stand account does not delete them.

If you want your data removed and you'd rather not do it yourself, or you have any other privacy question, email support@littleroadsidestand.com.

Getting Help

Support is by email at support@littleroadsidestand.com. Sellers can also use the "Contact / Request Help" form on their dashboard, which reaches the same place.

We generally reply within 2–3 business days. There is no phone support.

Trouble signing in — a forgotten password, an email address you can no longer reach, or adding a different way to sign in — is handled by Nolan Media at auth.nolanmedia.cc, since that's where your sign-in details live. Write to us anyway if you're not sure and we'll point you the right way.

Questions about a purchase you made from a stand — what you bought, when to pick it up, whether something is still available — need to go to that seller, not to us. Sellers run their own stands and we aren't part of those transactions.

Seller Responsibility / Compliance Notice

I understand that Little Roadside Stand does not verify whether I am legally allowed to sell these products. I am responsible for checking my local, state, and federal rules for food safety, labeling, permits, taxes, and product legality before listing or selling anything.

Please only list items you are legally allowed to sell in your area. Little Roadside Stand does not police, approve, inspect, or verify your product catalog.

Little Roadside Stand does not check, approve, license, or certify any seller or any product listed on this platform. Following your own local rules for food safety, labeling, permits, and taxes is entirely your responsibility as the seller.
